• I can be willfully ignorant about Final Fantasy 6 or the history of Bioware and no one calls me out on it.
• I can claim to be a gamer because I have Wii Sports and a copy of “Angry Birds” on my phone without having my gaming expertise questioned.
• I can wear that fucking tight Mario t-shirt that emphasizes my ample bosom without having even beaten スーパーマリオRPG Sūpā Mario Āru Pī Jī (That’s Super Mario RPG for the gaijin).
• I can choose to date that piece of shit jock instead of the intelligent, nice GameStop cashier who always stops to help me out even though he gets nothing in return and gets screwed over in favor of some vapid asshole.
